Lake Texoma Championship Tournament

Tournament Details

Registration is ONLY OPEN for those teams who FISHED ALL QUALIFYING EVENTS for TTO.

TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP, YOU MUST HAVE A PAID ENTRY TO ALL QUALIFYING EVENTS IN 2024.

REMINDER: For teams who registered for Ray Roberts, all entries were refunded. There are no fees from other events rolled to this event.

Make sure all contact information is correct for each angler. We can only use the contact information as submitted on the registration forms. If it’s incorrect, you may miss important updates about the tournament. 

USING A SUB

• If you use sub, YOUR SUB MUST have qualified to fish the Championship. You will need to email your sub’s information to Pamela Moore at pamela@tto-tx.com. Please include your sub’s name, phone number, email address, and mailing address.  If you are using a sub, there will be no points for AOY.

SIDE POT 

• YOU MUST make your election for the side pot when you register. You cannot add the side pot after official practice begins.

ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY

• ONLINE REGISTRATION is open through Friday, October 25th. You MUST be paid BEFORE you can participate in Official Practice (see below). Registration Form is below. You can click on “Participants” below to make sure your name is listed once you’ve submitted your registration.

• If you choose to mail-in your registration, please make sure to allow time to receive the form before official practice. If you do not see your team’s name in the “Participants” list, we have not received your form.

FOR RESERVATIONS AND DETAILS FOR YOUR STAY WITH OUR HOSTS:

West Bay Casino and Resort has graciously agreed to act as host for our event and we are proud to partner with them. You may make reservations with them (pending availability of rooms/cabins). Here are the details if you’d like to stay at West Bay Casino:

• Reservations will need to be called in at 580-564-1220. Tell them you are fishing Team Trail Outdoors to get our special rate.
• RATES:
  • Cabins have 5 bedrooms each with 2 queen-sized beds and a private bath, a common area, and a full kitchen. Rate is $469 for weekday and $679 for weekend rate.
  • Hotel rooms are either King or Queen/Queen and the rate is $129 per night.
• When you make a reservation, let them know how many boats are in your party so they can accommodate the parking.
• There will be availability for plugging up your boats to charge, but they ask that you bring your own extension cords.

CONTINGENCIES

• Be sure you check out our contingencies page to get signed up for all the contingency money available this year. Click on “CONTINGENCIES” in the menu to find all the money available and get signed up. If you are not signed up with us, we won’t know which contingencies you are qualified to get AND YOU COULD MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO GET PAID ON A CONTINGENCY, so GET SIGNED UP TODAY if you haven’t already done it. You only need to complete it once for the season.

OFF LIMITS

• Begins Sunday, OCTOBER 13th, starting at 11:59 pm, and runs through the start of the tournament.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE

• WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 23^RD, THURSDAY, OCTOBER 24^TH, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25^TH, from safelight (exact time will be updated so please check back and watch social media) until 5:00 pm. You MUST have a PAID online registration BEFORE you put your boat in the water.
• IF YOU ARE STAYING AT A CABIN ON THE WATER, FOR OFFICIAL PRACTICE YOU MUST STOP FISHING AT 5:00 PM. ALL FISHING ELECTRONICS, with the exception of navigation equipment, MUST BE TURNED OFF. You can boat to meeting/boat draw after practice. AFTER 5:00 PM, you may only go to the meeting and back to your cabin (if you’re on the lake), or to the boat ramp to load your boat.
• YOU MAY CHECK THE “PARTICIPANTS” BELOW TO MAKE SURE YOUR NAME IS LISTED ONCE YOU’VE SUBMITTED YOUR REGISTRATION. 
• Please read the RULES by clicking on the “Rules” link above for information regarding practice and other requirements.

MANDATORY MEETING FRIDAY NIGHT

• MANDATORY Angler Meeting and boat number draw at the RALLY PAVILLION (Lake Texoma State Park) beginning at 6:00 pm on Friday, October 25^th. You MUST come draw a boat number. Please keep your boat number card. It will contain your fishing times and you will need to check-in with your boat number for weigh-in.

FRIDAY NIGHT FOOD AND VENDORS

• Fun N Sun Boats and Tackle will be serving a meal to everyone.
• We will have vendors set up so come and browse and talk.

FRIDAY NIGHT – FLIPPING CONTEST

• $10 per person – ONE ENTRY PER PERSON
• Pays top 10 places
  • 1st – Winner takes all cash (100%) plus Lews/Strike King discount code
  • 2nd – Costa sunglasses plus Lews/Strike King discount code
  • 3rd – 10th will receive Lews/Strike King discount codes
• PLUS Fun N Sun $200 gift card BONUS opportunity!

CONTROLLED START IN BOAT NUMBER ORDER

• Tournament will be a controlled start from CATFISH BAY MARINA (Lake Texoma State Park). You may put in at any public boat ramp. We will release boats in number order after prayer and National Anthem at safe light. BOAT NUMBER 1 WILL BE CALLED AT SAFELIGHT. PLEASE MAKE PLANS TO BE THERE AND READY TO GO PRIOR TO SAFELIGHT. PLEASE COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER BOATERS ON THE WATER TO LINE UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE SO WE CAN GET EVERYONE OUT QUICKLY.
• WE WILL NOT WAIT TO START RELEASING BOATS IF THERE ARE BOATS STILL WAITING TO LAUNCH. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE READY TO TAKE OFF AT SAFELIGHT. IT IS UNFAIR TO THOSE WHO HAVE ARRANGED TO BE THERE AND ARE READY TO GO AT SAFELIGHT.   
• Fishing times will be according to boat number and times will be listed on your boat card. You MUST be checked in by your flight time. ANY TEAM WHO FAILS TO BE CHECKED IN WITH THEIR CATCH BY THEIR FLIGHT DEADLINE WILL BE ASSESSED A 1-POUND PENALTY PER MINUTE UP TO 15 MINUTES. AFTER 15 MINUTES, THAT TEAM WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WEIGH THEIR CATCH.

POSSIBLE CHANGES TO TAKE-OFF

• We will watch weather and wind conditions leading up to the tournament start.
• If we must change to a trailering event, that election will not be made until TUESDAY prior to Official Practice days, as weather conditions can change, and will be the sole discretion of the Tournament Director.
• Changes will be posted on our social media and we will notify everyone as they come to draw boat numbers on Friday and Saturday. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube – wherever you are connected. 

LAKE LENGTH REQUIREMENTS

• Large mouth, small mouth, and mean mouth bass is 14″ minimum.
• Kentucky spotted bass is any size.

WEIGH-IN

• Weigh-in times are according to flights and boat numbers. Specific information will be listed on your boat card.
• Weigh-in will be at the PARKING LOT OF WEST BAY CASINO (Lake Texoma State Park).
• You WILL use your own weigh-in bags so please bring one with you.
